Week 3 of the high school football season is here, and we have your preview of this week’s games:
HARDIN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL GAME OF THE WEEK:
John Hardin (1-1) v. Iroquois (0-2) :: JH -41.5
The John Hardin Running Back committee has a new chairman. Not since Keyandre Strand’s 204 carry, 1854 yard campaign in 2021 has a single John Hardin running back tallied over 1100 yards on the ground. Cavalli Pittman, senior has become the workhorse, and has already notched 436 yards in just two starts on 52 carries, including 32 in a 276-yard outing that saw him find paydirt 4 times against Green County last week. Iroquois has struggled to put points on the board through two games, averaging just 4 PPG through two games. Expect a one-sided affair with the Bulldogs marching, and Pittman, on pace to possibly eclipse Strand’s mark, and the 2000 yard mark as well, will have another big night.
Zac’s Prediction:
John Hardin – 49
Iroquois – 7
